SpaRitual Nail Lacquer – Review

This is my favorite time of year when we get to break out the sandals, flip flops and lots of fun new summer shades of nail polish.  I honestly never really thought too much about the chemicals in nail polish until I found this polish from SpaRitual.

This polish or ‘Lacquer’ as they call it, is really nice.  It is easy to apply and so easy to take off.  That is one thing I hate about darker colors, it is so hard to get it ALL off.  Not with this polish, it literally comes off in one swipe of the cotton ball.  It stays on just as well as anything else I have used, that contains all the chemicals.  It does still smell like nail polish, it is just not as strong.

There is a reason that polish has such a strong smell.  Most nail polish contains DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde resin and Toluene.  These chemicals serve a different function from preventing chipping and cracking to helping in the ease of applying.

You may be thinking, who cares, the amount of polish I use is so small.  I would have to agree with you, if you do not work with these products all the time in a professional manner.  I wanted to share only because I was not aware they made such great products without the harsh chemicals.  Why not avoid the exposure?

They have tons of great colors for each season and can be found at most beauty stores. I now see it everywhere.  If you check it out on Amazon, you can use the drop down to see all the available colors. The price is the same for their bottles of polish, as say an OPI, at approximately $10 a bottle.  The quality of this product is great and even better than OPI when it comes to removing it.  They also offer a .17 Fl Oz ‘mini’ bottle of polish for $5, compared to the standard .5 Fl Oz.  These are great!  When is the last time you used a whole bottle of polish before it got too thick?
